Recognition
A gift to the University of Guelph changes lives. It helps to develop tomorrow’s leaders in industry and science and propels athletes to the top of their game. It leads to breakthrough research and lights a spark in others to pursue a brighter world - every day. As a resource for infrastructure, fellowships, programming and scholarships, donated funds enhance accessibility and encourage excellence.
The University of Guelph is grateful to our donors for sharing our values and continuing to be an important member of our shared community: a community committed to a better world and a better tomorrow.
Our generous donors are recognized by membership in councils for lifetime giving and annual giving. We thank all our donors for their generosity and commitment to the University of Guelph.
Lifetime councils recognize individuals and individually-owned private foundations with realized and pledged donations at the highest levels. It is in partnership with these visionary leaders that the University of Guelph continues its tradition of caring, innovation, and education for change. As a University of Guelph Lifetime Giving Council member, you are considered a special part of our University’s community. We look forward to sharing with you information about the impact of your support. We will also extend invitations to attend special events and send you news and various University publications. The Order provides the opportunity to enrich teaching and study of agriculture, food production, the environment, the community and rural development. The members of the Order of OAC are alumni and friends of the College who have donated $100,000 or more, as bequests, irrevocable insurance policies, planned gifts or cash donations, for endowment or expendable purposes within the Ontario Agricultural College or the OAC Alumni Foundation.
